Disability Accommodations

Step 1

To start, contact [email protected] to notify us that you have a documented disability (including a short-term disability). The list of documents the university requests will vary based on the type of disability you have, and may include medical records, test results, and a letter from your physician.

Step 2

Next, provide us with a written statement detailing how your disability impacts your ability to learn in an online college environment and what accommodations will be helpful to you. Your medical history and other sensitive information will not be shared with your instructors.

Step 3

The university's DSA officer will review the submitted documentation with the Disability Support Services Committee. You will be notified via email of the decision to grant or deny the request within 10 days of receipt of all required documentation. If you are denied services, you may appeal within 15 days of that decision by submitting the Academic Appeal Request form in your ecampus. It is located under the University Forms section of the Academic Plan & Forms menu. Please select "Other" as your appeal category and type.
