New Officer Training
We know that fostering a healthy, resilient community starts with access to the right resources. We understand that building a healthy, resilient community begins with providing the right resources. The Health and Wellness category of the APUS Success Center (requires Campus login) offers a variety of resources specifically designed to assist students in managing stress, anxiety, and other challenges they may encounter during their academic journey.
To assist you in promoting mental health among your members, we recommend sharing two of our most effective resources: Uwill and TalkCampus. These platforms offer accessible, flexible, and confidential support that your members can rely on, whether they need professional counseling or peer connection.
- Uwill: This innovative teletherapy platform connects students with licensed mental health counselors on their terms. Uwill offers private, one-on-one sessions tailored to individual needs via video, phone, or chat. It's an invaluable resource for students seeking professional guidance in a way that fits their schedules.
- TalkCampus: For students who thrive on peer support, TalkCampus offers a global platform where they can share experiences, ask for advice, and connect with others facing similar struggles. Whether about handling academic pressure or personal challenges, TalkCampus provides a safe, welcoming space for students to feel heard and understood.
By sharing the tools in the Social Toolkit with your members, you can help foster a culture of mental health awareness and ensure everyone has the support they need. Together, we can create a more connected, compassionate campus community.
