The course emphasizes differentiated instruction and course development as applicable to adult and K-12 learners in traditional, virtual, and hybrid contexts. Topics include a historical perspective, diversity, andragogy versus pedagogy in the online classroom, trends and issues with technology education and online education, LMS elements, and basics of grant writing/technology grant writing.
