New Online Tuition Assistance for ARMY Students at AMU!
The Army TA approval process is changing. Tuition assistance forms for classes starting during or after May 2006 will no longer get approved by local Education Service Officers (ESOs). Instead, Army students will use the new online TA approval process at the Army's new portal at www.goarmyed.com.
Army students wishing to begin a degree program at AMU should follow these simple steps to get started:
Log onto www.amu.apus.edu, click on the red Apply Now button and complete the online application and orientation. - Register for your first course(s) and submit your Transfer Credit Evaluation (TCE) form.
- Visit www.goarmyed.com and click on the "New Users" tab.
- Submit an "application."
- Receive a username and password.
- Complete the "Prospective Student Checklist" located under the "Prospective Student View" in order to complete the set up to use Army TA.
Note: - Students must be registered on GoArmyEd AND with AMU. AMU will not accept hardcopy TA for courses beginning on or after May 1, 2006 from students eligible to use GoArmyEd TA.
The Army will provide supplemental information and instructions to all soldiers about using the new Army portal. If you have additional questions, please read our Army TA FAQs.
AMU supports the Army’s initiative to centralize tuition assistance management. We are proud to be a partner with the Army Continuing Education System (ACES) in supporting your educational goals. |
